Still in Helsinki. I went to see a gig yesterday of this Danish band called Efterklang. They were very very very good. Brilliant. Lovely. Breathtaking. I recommend them to everyone. Beautiful people surrounded by beautiful music.Alors, alors, alors. Many friends of mine seem to be curious about this trip and unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to tell them the purpose of the journey. That is why I will put here a short version of our schedule, as far as I have been told. But first of all, what is this all about? The photographer Massimo Dorigo (http://www.maxdorigo.it/) and his friend painter, Stefano Maugeri, started long time ago to plan a trip to a national park in India, particularly to the one where we are going to, the Rathambore National Park (http://www.ranthamborenationalpark.com), where you can still see the Bengal tigers. The aim is to shoot videos,to photograph, paint and draw in this amazing natural environment and begin to organize photography and drawing workshops in this area. Moreover, Stefano, who works at the National Park in Abruzzo, is probably going to realize a sort of "twinning" between these two parks.
So, in summary, this is what we are going to do:
10th April: leaving from Helsinki in the afternoon. It is a stright Finnair plane to New Delhi
11th: arrival to New Delhi in the early morning where we will take the train to Rathambore, where we will get to at night. First night at the Rathambore Bagh (http://www.ranthambhore.com/) where we will stay from the 12th to the 18th, doing safari excursions and workshops etc.
19th: we will reach Agra by train, visit the Taj Mahal and spend the night in a hotel there.
20th: second visit to the Taj Mahal
21st: back to New Delhi by train plus night in a local hotel
22nd: flight from New Delhi back to Helsinki.
Oh mon dieu. Two days left.
